The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the relevant curriculum.
• Prepare teaching materials, activities, assignments, and assessments.
• Assess and monitor students’ academic progress.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their development.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment, and student performance.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet different learning abilities and needs.
• Encourage student participation, critical thinking, and independent learning.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, colleagues, and other professionals where required.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities.
• Stay updated with relevant curriculum requirements and teaching practices.

Requirements

• Relevant teaching qualification or degree in the subject area.
• Previous teaching experience is desirable.
• Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to engage students and create a positive learning environment.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
• Ability to work additional hours when required for lesson preparation, marking, and school activities.
