Job Overview

Educational Global is seeking a compassionate, approachable, and professional Counsellor to provide guidance and support to students and clients. The successful candidate will help individuals navigate educational, personal, and career-related challenges while providing appropriate advice and maintaining professional confidentiality.

Fluency in Nepali, Hindi, and English is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one counselling and guidance to students and clients.
• Understand individual needs, concerns, goals, and circumstances.
• Provide appropriate educational and career guidance.
• Support students in making informed decisions about their education and future.
• Build trusting and professional relationships with clients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Identify concerns that may require referral to appropriate professionals or services.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, educational institutions, and other stakeholders.
• Follow professional, safeguarding, confidentiality, and data-protection procedures.
• Provide culturally sensitive support to clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Counselling, Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related field.
• Previous counselling, student-support, or educational guidance experience is desirable.
• Fluent in Nepali, Hindi, and English — essential.
• Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach.
• Strong understanding of confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
• Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
